Dear Friends: Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms in our lives: mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, stepmothers, mother-in-laws, and foster mothers! A special blessing to those who have lost mothers and mothers who have lost children. We are so thankful for the love and sacrifice!
We have received positive feedback from our last newsletter and Easter message! https://ladailypost.com/shin-an-easter-message/ Our patients greatly appreciate the advanced technology and are thankful for a very thorough eye examination. One of our patients got upset: “Why didn’t I know about these additional tests last time?” In the past, we may have not been consistent about educating patients on their value. But now, with the upgrades and my new staff, we make sure all patients are aware of their vision-saving potential. We are able to detect diseases not visible on the standard eye exam and before they start to affect vision. Based on the OCTA, one young patient opted for preventative treatment, even though risk for progression was low, because he witnessed a family member experience devastating blindness.
