Don’t abuse your contact lenses!

Do you wear your contact lenses 12-14+ hours/day? Do you extend the life of your contact lenses, instead of tossing them as recommended? This is what can happen! White spot on the cornea is caused by inflammation.

Symptoms include: pain, redness, sensitivity to light, burning, foreign body sensation, grittiness, and watering. Sometimes vision can be blurred.

If treated early, this will resolve with short course of antibiotics and steroid eyedrops.
