Incomplete Eyelid Closure

Sometimes when the eyelid has been damaged, it does not completely close.  This can lead to eye infections, so an antibiotic ointment can be helpful.

Patient Reviews

“I can’t thank you enough for your perseverance in making sure that the glasses I got were right for me.  Thank you for staying with my situation, for calling me…to check on my satisfaction after more than a month, and for delving further into the insurance maze on my behalf.  You have always provided me with excellent care, but in this case your case is extra-ordinary.  It is above and beyond the usual expectations of good care.  Los Alamos is fortunate to have a professional like you of such high quality and I am very fortunate to be one of your patients.  Thank you, thank you again.”  F.M.

“I picked up my glasses yesterday, and I just wanted to tell Dr. Shin, holy moley , I can see!…it’s incredible, & I wanted to tell you, thank you! You guys are wonderful..I can see. I haven’t had this in 10 years. Tell her, thank you so much!…I can’t get over the clarity.” W.T.

Patient Reviews

“When picking out new frames at Los Alamos family eyecare, I had top-notch customer service! Ren did an outstanding job of helping me with my Gwen Stefani frames with transition lenses. I am so delighted to have the special UV coating and the glasses have the thinnest material possible. I hadn’t updated my look in the past 10 years and I was due for a modern update. I certainly got it! If you were due for new frames too, you should go there. You will not be disappointed.”   K.B.

Dr. Shin:  I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful service you have provided me.  I am pleased with my glasses…Your office is pleasant and I felt quite safe during COVID.  Everyone in the office I have met has been super nice and supportive.  Finding you and your service has been the best thing for me and my eye care.   S.W.

Patient Reviews

Dr. Shin has been my eye care professional ever since Dr. Bond retired. She has provided thorough, professional care over those many years, and my visual health continues be great as I age. She is excellent at explaining the purposes and results of her testing and keeps me aware of possible future issues. She recently suggested cataract surgery, and supervised my recovery. For the first time in many years, I know what the color “blue” looks like to the rest of the population. She and her staff are friendly and caring, and they make it easy to care for my vision.  MM

Patient Reviews

Thank you Dr Lisa Shin for a very thorough and efficient experience!

I’ve recently begun seeing Dr Shin as one of my goals this year was to get updated contact lenses.  She was friendly, very professional, and got me in and out of there with a new prescription in record time. Perfect, as I have a work trip in a month.

The front office staff is also very kind and checked me out quickly.

What a NICE find right here in Los Alamos !    J.T.
