Corneal Edema After Cataract Surgery

It is very common to see corneal edema (swelling) after cataract surgery. This can cause blurry vision and discomfort, but usually resolves in 1 week, without additional medications or intervention. It is important to stay on prescribed eye drops!

If the cornea does not clear up, then you may need Muro 128 eye drops or a corneal transplant (rarely).
